Stroud SUP Terms & Policies
In order to reserve a Paddle Boarding Lesson/Session, payment is required in full, prior to attending.
Should any event be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, waterways closures, injury or illness of the instructor(s), we will offer an alternative date or issue a full refund.
For customer booking please contact us in advance should you be unable to attend. We reserve the right to retain customer payments if they cancel within 24 hours of their booking. This is because we have to prepare paddle boards and equipment and organise travel to each launch location.
We are always happy to discuss and last minute cancellations so please always call us where possible to explain. We may use our discretion to issue refunds within 24 hours of events.
We have a number of launch sites, most of which do not have any facilities as they are on canal pathways and river banks. The Black Shed Cafe in Slimbridge is our base which has full cafe services available there.
Please bring your own refreshments, but be conscious that you will need to be able to carry these safely with you during your paddle boarding session.
Always inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely paddle board with us. Illnesses should be mentioned at the time of enquiry or booking so that we can assess the ability for you to paddle safely.
Please also inform us of any disabilities or mental health conditions, for the same reasons as above, as we do our best to enable everyone to enjoy paddle boarding where possible but we need to ensure that all boarders are safe to paddle with us.
